Friends of MADACC is looking to fill some board seats as some of our board members terms are coming to an end!
One of those positions is Outreach Director. You will work with the existing outreach chair to:
-Schedule and manage Community Pet Clinics
-Implement community outreach programs (e.g. pet food donations, transportation for spay/neuter programs)
-Manage outreach and training information(e.g. basic pet behavior training, community resource sheets, interact with community at events hosted by FOM or other community organizations)
If you have a willingness to learn about animal welfare best practices and work with the community in a welcoming, compassionate and understanding way, you might be a perfect fit.
If you're interested in this role, please email info@friendsofmadacc.org or DM us for more info! (Note: This is an unpaid position)

Somehow it is still kitten season so…
Good intentions don’t always end well!
Unless a kitten you find outdoors is injured or critically sick it should generally be left alone. Oftentimes mother cats are only away in search of food and will return. Please refer to the guide below if you find stray kittens. It is crucial for their survival.
Want to help?
Step 1: Leave healthy kittens with mom until at least 6-8 weeks of age. Refer to the pictures below.
Step 2: Sign up to the be a kitten foster through MADACC: madacc.org/donatevolunteer/
