Since August 1, 1999, the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission has provided search and recovery of lost pets and rabies quarantine services for Milwaukee County. MADACC meets the sheltering, care, and stray animal services needs of the county through a workforce of both full and part time employees functioning in a variety of capacities. Due to the broad scope of services required by animal control, MADACC maintains employment recruitment in several functional areas.

MADACC staff members enjoy very competitive pay, excellent benefits, pension plan, and the opportunity to participate in educational opportunities to continue their pursuit of knowledge and excellence in their field. We have a supportive, team oriented culture and believe in inclusion, diversity, and creating a positive working environment.
