While MADACC is a government facility it does not have the authority to do what the police do, so MADACC’s relationships with police districts in Milwaukee County are important. Even better it means they can help us reach a wider audience for our adoptable animals.
Many police stations have microchip scanners to scan stray animals (cats, dogs, EVEN birds). So if you find a stray getting them scanned for a chip is often the fastest way to get them safely back to their home ❤️
