MADACC has a unique activity that makes a HUGE difference in the lives of dogs at the shelter - ENRICHMENT STUFFING!! MADACC will provide all supplies as well as instructions on how to stuff (we have to be careful bc we don’t want the dogs to get tummy aches). You can hang out at the shelter or grab your supplies and take them with you! Get your coworkers, friends or volunteer groups involved - or stuff them at home while you wind down in front of the tv!
Enrichment is invaluable to the wellbeing of our resident pups and is a non-negotiable activity to
manage stress levels - but staff doesn’t always have time to fill toys (and if there’s no stuffed toys, there’s nothing to hand out!)
This is a great way to get kiddos who don’t meet MADACC’s in-shelter age criteria involved!!
